All bikes are regularly serviced by cytech qualified technicians

A great day out awaits you at Delamere Forest. We have a variety of top-spec bikes and equipment suitable for families and enthusiasts.

You will need the following to hire a bike from us - either a driving licence, passport, debit / credit card that you pay on (to be left with us as deposit). All cycles are hired at the discretion of Tracs (UK) Ltd.

E-Bike Hire - NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE A £1000 pre-authorisation deposit is also required upon hire. Please call 01606 881802 to confirm availability.

Please note, age restriction applies - a responsible adult must accompany anyone under 16yrs. For your safety a helmet must be worn at all times - we provide them free with every hire. Additional helmets are also available to hire from Tracs. If you are making a group booking please call 01606 881802.

Please Note Any cancellation by you must be received via email to us within 2 weeks of commencement of your course or hire.

Any cancellation by you for whatever reason within 2 weeks of your course or hire date will result in the loss of the cost of the reservation. Where to ride

There are two waymarked trails in Delamere Forest, managed by Forestry England. They are all suitable for families as they're fairly flat and wide.

You can simply follow the coloured markers to navigate but take a map just in case (available to purchase from our shop). The forest is available for you to explore.

Terms & Conditions

These conditions apply to all cycle hire and training bookings. By making a reservation on a course or reserving the hire of a cycle with Tracs (U.K.) Ltd, you are agreeing to abide by the following terms and conditions.

Reservation

When you make a reservation or hire, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept, and do accept, on behalf of your party the terms and conditions.

Once a reservation has been placed we will confirm by email.

Payment

Full payment must be received to guarantee a place on one of our courses. Payment can be made by cash/card or cheque.

If you pay by cheque your place is not reserved until we receive confirmation that the cheque has been cleared.

Cancellation by you

Any cancellation by you must be received via email to us within 2 weeks of commencement of your course or hire.

Any cancellation by you for whatever reason within 2 weeks of your course or hire date will result in the loss of the cost of the reservation. Failure to turn up to your course or hire without informing us in writing will class as cancellation and will result in loss of the full payment.

Cancellation by us

We will always try to avoid cancellation of a reservation. In the event of any exceptional circumstances beyond our control, we may have to cancel your reservation. Any cancellation by us will result in a full refund to yourself (by cheque), or transfer to another suitable course. We cannot be held liable for any other expenses you might incur as a result of us cancelling your course.

Force majeure: This means a cause beyond our control. We will not refund, nor will we pay compensation if we have to change your course because of natural disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances that may amount to force majeure.

Limit of our liability

Our liability to you in any circumstances is limited to the total cost of your course. We accept no responsibility for any damage or loss to your personal possessions. We are not liable for any failure to carry out the contract if the failure is:

  • due to the actions of a participant
  • due to the actions of a third party unconnected with us
  • due to circumstances out of our control and unforeseeable
  • due to theft or damage to bicycles or injury to you which occurs as a result of cycling off-road.
Publicity

When you take part in one of our courses you agree to us using any photographs we take for promotional purposes, either on our website or in printed material. If you do not wish us to use your photo you must inform us in writing.
